What you can expect

Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal and its most popular tourist attraction, is spread out over its eponymous valley and encircled by Himalayan mountains. Kathmandu is the gateway to exploring Nepal’s essence. It is home to several ancient temples, golden pagodas, stunning

natural scenery, and captivating villages. Kathmandu is located at a height of 4,344 feet and is the meeting point of the Bagmati and Vishnumati rivers. Stunning Indo- Tibetan and Newari handicrafts, UNESCO-listed cultural sites, exquisite food, and superb hiking opportunities to the highest peaks in the world may all be found here.
Every traveller, pilgrim, backpacker, history buff, foodie, and shopaholic will find something special in Kathmandu, from courtyards filled with drying rice and chillies to incense-filled temples, national museums, and modern Nepali art galleries to hobbit-sized workshops, humming bazaars, rickshaws, Momo, Thukpa, and Everest beer.

Pokhara, the 'Tourist Capital of Nepal,' is the second-largest city, after Kathmandu. Being one of the highest cities at almost 900m above sea level, it serves as the starting point for several well- known treks. The highlight of the town is its Lakeside, which is a

boating paradise flanked with charming shops, dreamy cafés, restaurants and pubs that make up this postcard-perfect town. For thrill seekers, Pokhara is a sought-after starting point for several hikes in the Annapurna Range as well as numerous paragliding and river rafting activities.

Chitwan National Park is the first step that Nepal took towards protection of the wildlife and nature at large. Located in the subtropical inner Terai lowlands of south-central Nepal, the national park covers an area of 952.63 sq. km. over the districts of Nawalparasi, Parsa,
Makwanpur and Chitwan itself. The
place was granted its long-due status of UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, and ever since its inception 11 years before that, Chitwan National Park has been getting the footfalls of the nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.
