Overview

On this walk through the historic centre of Porto Alegre, we will tell you many stories about the geographic, political and social formation of the capital of Rio Grande do Sul. We begin our walk in front of the city's Public Market, one of the main commercial centers since the beginning of the city's occupation, then we will continue to Praça da Alfândega, with the main cultural centers of the capital of Rio Grande do Sul, and continue to Orla do Guaíba, passing by the city's main postcards, such as Farol Santander, the Rio Grande do Sul Arts Museum, the Casa de Cultura Mário Quintana and Basílica Nossa Senhora das Dores.

The end of the walk will be with the beautiful sunset of Guaíba at Usina do Gasologista, the favourite landscape of Porto Alegre residents.
