What you can expect

Experience an exhilarating and memorable helicopter flight over Brisbane. A fully qualified instructor teaches you flight basics, from helicopter facts and main controls to takeoff and manoeuvring. No prior experience is needed for you to enjoy this introduction to flying a helicopter.

Your helicopter adventure starts at Archfield Airport. Get acquainted with your instructor, listen to a flight briefing, and learn the main controls of a helicopter. Then, it's time to take theory into practice. Jump into the cockpit and set to the skies for a 30-minute flight.

After taking off, learn the techniques and skills of manoeuvring a helicopter as the instructor hands each control to you one at a time until you have full control. Feel the rush of the helicopter zipping above the scenic Mount Cotton and admire the wonderful view of Brisbane below.
