Choose to stay on for the full 90-minute tour, or hop off at the Southernmost Point and browse Mallory Square’s shops and watch the sunset from the waterfront. Stop for a piece of key lime pie or a margarita at Simonton Row and admire Duval Street’s Victorian mansions, famous restaurants, and bars with live music.

Grab a beer, snap a few photos, and explore the Hemingway Home and Museum. The museum, where Ernest Hemingway lived in the 1930s, is now home to many six-toed cats, descendants of Hemingway’s pet. Home to many wonderful cafes, shops, bars, and landmarks, Key West is waiting for you.

We did it on our first day and it really helped us get the “lay of the land” for the rest of our week in Key West. It was nice to hop off and eat/shop/see things and then hop back on when we were done in that area. Every 15 minutes or so a bus comes thru so you don’t wait long. Each driver had their own stories they shared which we also enjoyed.

There didn’t seem to be enough time to really do things. It would be nice if they would break it into two loops instead of one big one with an exchange in the middle somewhere. A few times there were too many people trying to get on and not enough seats. That really causes some issues.

Took the 1130 trolley. Pat was too soft spoken majority of the ride couldn’t hear due to passing vehicles; I feel pat could’ve raised her voice or volume on speakers given outside traffic. Another gentleman did just that and our 2nd time was better. Suggest taking tour before enjoying island; it helps to get familiar with island.
