Shirahige Falls, characterised by a 30-meter drop and situated at an altitude of 600 metres, can be found within the Shirogane Onsen Village in Biei Town. Earning its moniker “White Beard Falls” due to the way its waters cascade from rocky crevices, creating a visual resemblance to white whiskers, this waterfall captivates spectators as it relentlessly pounds against the rocks.
