Know before you book

  • Children 2 and younger are complimentary.
  • Hours of operation are 8:35 AM - 7:00 PM in summer & 9:00 AM - 4:55 PM. Buses depart every 10-15 minutes in the summer and every 50-60 minutes in the winter. Last loop of the day begins 90 minutes before listed end time.
  • Select Hop-On Hop-Off buses are now equipped to accommodate collapsible/fold-able wheelchairs, walkers and strollers. However, note that our vintage blue clear-top buses cannot accommodate mobility aids as they do not have the necessary safety features.
  • Hop-On, Hop-Off is not operational at night.

We liked the tour, but the buses went not on-time. If you get off at all the stops, you don't have enough time. Stopping busses at 5pm isnt long enough, we ended up taking a Uber to get back to the starting point. The drivers were good.

Most of the stops make no sense. We ride 3 times . The first two times were with the same crew. The driver was excellent and the narrator not too much. Was a blond women. Didn’t ask for her name. The bus was old. The third time excellent bus 2 stories and the driver narrator was excellent His name was Simon. He was the best. Kind, funny, and doing his job all day he time.

We used the Hop-On Hop-Off Tour Bus for one day during our vacation and it provided us with the ability to see more of Vancouver. We enjoyed seeing Stanley Park and visiting the Vancouver Aquarium, and we also enjoyed visiting Granville Island for the restaurants and shops.
