What you can expect

Flying over the rainforest canopy on Australia's highest zipline tour, you can take in views that stretch out as far as the Pacific Ocean. Soar above the foliage on this sky-high 3-line course, and then get a closer look at the native jungle on a treetop trek.

Less than 2 hours from Sydney and an hour from Wollongong, this zipline course offers a real chance to immerse yourself in native Australian wilderness. Your adventure begins with a safety briefing at the visitor centre, where an experienced guide gets you comfortably strapped into your harness and offers tips for getting the most out of your ride. From there, it's just a quick 10-minute walk down to the start of the course.

Climb to the top of your first platform, step to the edge, and make the leap. The forest blurs around you as you whoosh to the end of the line. The thrills continue across 2 suspended bridges and 2 more cables, which reach heights of up to 115 feet (35 m). Along the way, your guide shares interesting facts about the natural history and characteristics of the region's native flora.

After an hour spent cruising from tree to tree, you can hike back to the visitor centre and call it a day, or spend another hour strolling on a 1-mile (1.5-km) walkway for a chance to discover more about the rainforest ecosystem. Trek along the forest floor, and make the climb up to a central tower that rises 165 feet (50 m) from the ground below, offering spectacular panoramas over the hillsides and coastline beyond.
