Each night guests can view the beautiful scenery that surrounds Fairbanks, including the beautiful Chena River and surrounding lakes, streams and more.
Felix Pedro Monument (Pass by)
Gold, Gold, Gold! Alaska is known for oil and gold. Our guides are familiar with gold panning and the man who first discovered gold in July 1902, starting the Fairbanks Gold Rush. This monument is one of many treasures we are happy to share whenever possible with guests. Please remember we go where the clear skies are and not all guests have the same locations to visit. If you want to learn about Alaskan History, ask our wonderful guides who are happy to share both personal and historical facts and stories.
Alyeska Pipeline Viewing Point (Pass by)
Here at Aurora in Alaska we go to the best cloud free location each night. One of our favourites stops along the way is the awe-inspiring and historical Alyeska Pipeline. Whenever possible our guides happily share our Alaskan history with oil and take guests up close and personal to the pipeline.
