Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Your Mahanda Africa Safaris guide will be available to pick you up from the airport or any other pickup point you may specify. For scheduled pickups, you will need to share your expected arrival time, and your guide will transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi where you will have a rest for the night.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Nakuru

Today, after an early morning breakfast, your safari will start with a pick up from your Nairobi hotel at 7 a.m and departure for Lake Nakuru National park arriving by mid-morning. You will have a stopover by the great East African rift valley to take in this breathtaking view, and then proceed for your first game drive into Lake Nakuru National Park.
After checking into your lodge and some lunch, you will have another game drive in the afternoon and your guide will help you spot this park’s amazing attractions and creatures. Look out for the iconic pink flamingos, rhinos, buffalos, giraffes and so much more!
In the evening, you will retire to the beautiful Sarova Woodlands hotel for a relaxing evening, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Maasai Mara

Today, after an early breakfast at the hotel, you and your guide will depart the great Maasai Mara National Reserve. The road to the Maasai Mara is a scenic one; passing through valleys, plantations and small towns. You should arrive in the Maasai Mara in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive into the evening sunset.

Day 4: Full day game drive in Maasai Mara

Today, after an early morning breakfast, you and your guide head out for a game drive, and spend the day in search of the big five and many other wildlife species that inhabit these beautiful savannah plains. You can have a packed lunch or opt for a bush meal on the savannah.
You also have many optional activities to choose from today including: a hot air balloon safari, cultural tour, a horseback safari, and a guided walking safari.

Day 5: Transfer to Nairobi

Thereafter, you will depart for Nairobi city with a stopover for lunch en route.
