What you can expect

Take a break from the bustling city of Bangkok and spend a day in nature, exploring one of Thailand’s largest national parks. Hike along nature trails and come face to face with the park’s majestic waterfalls – Haew Suwat and Haew Narok – for an adventure-filled day surrounded by Mother Nature.

Starting with an early call time, we’ll pick you up from your accommodation before beginning the 3-hour journey northeast. We’ll have a quick stop at The Birder’s Lodge to grab some coffee before heading to one of the largest national parks in Thailand.

At Khao Yai National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we’ll traverse one of the many nature trails, admiring the local flora and fauna. As it is one of the oldest national parks in the country, you’ll find all kinds of animals – from mammals and reptiles to birds and insects – in the area. If we’re really lucky, we may just spot a herd of elephants nearby.

“A beautiful national park with lots of wildlife and good trails through the jungle and mountains. We saw one elephant, a bear cat, hornbills, monkeys, deer and heard lots of gibbons singing”BL, Switzerland

After lunch, we’ll trek to Haew Suwat WaterfallandHaew Narok Waterfall, two of the park’s most picturesque bodies of water. We’ll marvel at the cool cascades, snap photos of the lush scenery, and take a quick respite before making our way back to Bangkok.

“The effort to make it down to the bottom was well rewarded with a good view of the waterfall, being so close to it still made us excited to hear the roar of the falling water.”Ong, Singapore
