What you can expect

After breakfast at your lodge drive off to Kilimanjaro mountain for the day hike tour through Marangu gate. Marangu route is the coolest route on mount kilimanjaro. Its elevation curve is very slow and steady, allowing for effortless hiking for most of the way. Due to its status as a cool route, Marangu is often selected by unprepared, inexpert climbers, and only about 35% of the folks make it to Uhuru Peak at the top. The hiking will take you from Marangu gate to Mandara Hut, 1 970m – 2 770m which will take you 6 – 7 hours. returning to the lodge in the evening.
