Since 1978, this exceptional site has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage list, making it an even more essential stop for travellers. The miners of Wieliczka left behind numerous sculptures and bas-reliefs carved from salt, preserving their craftsmanship for generations to come.
The mine features about 800 steps leading deep underground. After descending approximately 350 steps, you'll reach the first underground level. Once the tour is complete, a lift will take you back to the surface.
