What you can expect

At the Ljubljana Ethnographic Museum, meet your workshop leader, ceramic designer, Eva Peterson Lenassito to learn about the history of the pottery tradition in Slovenia. Under her expert eye, allow your creativity to run free and mould balls of clay on the potter's wheel to make your individual cup.
In a small group, academy-trained Eva will begin the workshop by introducing the art and history of Slovenian pottery and sculpting. Be fascinated by a highly skilled artist's knowledge and passion for traditional and modern craft techniques.
Once you have heard from the expert, it is your turn to take to the pottery wheel and explore your creative side! Eva will be by your side for supervision while you relax and mould the clay to your own design.
Enjoy the experience of crafting a cup with the earthiness of clay which can be fired in the kiln and sent to your home by post after the event.
