In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco at 04:00 hrs and transferred to the Ollantaytambo train station (approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes car trip). [If the train leaves from Poroy the car trip is 30 minutes, then take a 3 and a half hour train trip.]
Once at the Ollantaytambo train station at 06:10 hrs you will board the train to go to the town of Aguas Calientes (town of Machupicchu) on the train trip you will enjoy extraordinary landscapes, mountains, rivers and streams. You will also be able to appreciate the flora and fauna of this area of Cusco. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), the agency staff will be waiting for you to give you all the instructions, then go to the bus station where you will board the bus that takes a zigzag route to the mountain where the majestic citadel of Machupicchu is located (30-minute bus trip).
Upon getting off the bus you will go to the entrance of Machupicchu, where you must present the tickets and respective identification documents. From this place the guided tour of the citadel of Machupicchu will begin, you will visit the main sites of the city with our guide who will give you all the information and history of Machupicchu for approximately 2 hours. On the tour you will open your senses and be filled with the great energy that this majestic place hides. At the appropriate time you must take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes where you can enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants and optionally you can visit the thermomedicinal baths (not included lunch or entrance).
In the afternoon you will take the return train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, where the agency staff will be waiting for you to transport you to the city of Cusco.
