Overview

Visit a winery in the Castilla la Mancha wine region of Spain. Only an hour from our meeting point we set out northeast from Madrid to the countryside of Guadalajara.

We visit a gorgeous family owned winery surrounded by vineyards where I provide a complete private tour of the winery and vineyards and finish in their tasting room for our private wine tasting. (three wines)

After our winery tour we visit the neighbouring village where we enjoy a traditional lunch accompanied by more wine! The restaurant is a very typical Spanish restaurant serving regional food. If we have a group of 4 we have lunch at the winery in their private dining room.

This tour has been designed to offer a personal experience in a small group setting, no more than 4 people. Usually it's just a couple so it is like having a private guide all day.

Get to know a Spanish winery and vineyard near Madrid with me, a bubbly native from Los Angeles, California who has lived in Madrid for 20+ years. Our day starts off by visiting a winery an hour from our meeting point. As a WSET trained wine enthusiast, i´ll explain the wine making process as we visit the vineyards and show you the inner workings of the winery. After the tour we will sample 3 wines accompanied by local cheeses and other locally made snacks. The winery is family owned and there is a possibility to have lunch at the winery for private groups, enquire for more info. Enjoy and support a local winery in a picturesque Spanish countryside setting!

After our winery tour and tasting we will visit the neighbouring village where I will explain the history and show you the historic landmarks the village has to offer. After our short historical tour, we´ll have lunch at a local restaurant accompanied by the wine from the winery we visited earlier.
