The Matopos National Park is home to the Caves & Rock Paintings of the San people, the black & white Rhino, breathtaking Granite Rock hills and outcrops and wildlife. A number of historical sites such as the grave of, Mzilikazi (the King of the Ndebele people) and Cecil John Rhodes.

Pomongwe Cave

This is the largest cave in the park that is believed to have sheltered a group of about 150 San people who are believed to have scripted the rock paintings found in that cave. Leopards are also said to be found around that cave. There’s also a museum that heralds the life of these historic people
