Lake Kawaguchiko

Chureito Pagoda

Visitors can drink this pure spring water and, with favourable weather conditions, enjoy a close view of Mount Fuji from the village.
Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine

Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine is one of around 1,300 Asama shrines in Japan, which are dedicated to Konohanasakuya-hime, the goddess of Mount Fuji and all volcanoes. This shrine is part of the Mt. Fuji UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, recognised in 2013. Asama shrines are typically located with a view of Mount Fuji. If the view is obstructed, miniature replicas of the mountain, made from rocks from Mt. Fuji, are often placed within the shrine grounds.
