Overview

Give in to the medieval charm of Eger and let the centuries-old history enchant you on a private tour dating back to the first half of the 16th century & taste exquisite locally produced wine specialities.
Join us on a light stroll in the heart of the city, where you’ll have the chance to see historically significant buildings and venues, encompassing Dobó Square as well as the minaret, a relic of Ottoman rule.

As we arrive at the fortress constructed during the 1300s, allowing you to experience everyday life and warfare first-hand in one of the most cited structures of folklore,. As we carry on our journey, we leap ahead in time and visit the Basilica, built and decorated in lavish classical style.

Apart from its abundant historical and architectural heritage, Eger is well-renowned for its sophisticated wine culture; hence, we are ending the tour with a fantastic 3-hour wine tasting in a traditional cellar offering wine specific to the region.
