Kegon Waterfalls

Kegon Falls - one of the three famous waterfalls in Japan and a famous tourist destination. The water from Chuzenji Lake forms the Ojiri River at the eastern end, crosses Mount Nantai, and flows down from a height of 700 metres to form the main part of the waterfall, which is 99 metres high. The upper rock protrudes forward, and 12 small waterfalls flow out of the rock gaps. In autumn, the surrounding red leaves are covered with beautiful scenery. It is the tourist centre of Nikko National Park. It is very suitable for taking pictures and has the artistic conception of mountains and flowing water.
