Several negatives, inadequate space for entry: Biking in a busy city can be dangerous, the guide didn’t give adequate safety instructions! A friend in my group had an accident with a car which went into our lane on a switchback. Car and bike were damaged and my friend had several cuts and bruises (overall it could have been much worse). To add insult to injury, he was charged for bike repairs! No calls to police were made, no reports were filed (to my knowledge). Future riders should be aware they are “on their own” regarding safety. Experienced city cyclists only! On a positive note, the ebikes were adequate and the routes were a decent mix of scenic waterfronts, an impressive overlooks and glitzy shopping area. Finally, I would add that due to safety issues, the group size should be limited to 4 riders, especially since there are dangerous streets and intersections where the guide needs to be aware of every rider’s environment. Too many close calls in our group of 9 riders.
