Know before you book

  • You must be 9 or older.
  • If you are pregnant, you should not take part.
  • If you have back, neck, joint, or muscular problems, you should carefully consider whether to participate.
  • You must be able to swim on your own.
  • You do not need previous surfing experience.
  • Hours of operation are Tuesday to Friday from 11 AM to 5 PM, and from 8am on weekends.

What you can expect

Feel the adrenaline rush of kitesurfing on the best waves of Sandgate Beach. Skilled instructors teach you surfing basics, from ocean facts and forehand turns to paddling and wave riding. No prior experience is needed for you to enjoy this casually paced introduction to this ocean activity.

Make your way to beautiful Sandgate Beach and get acquainted with your experienced instructor.

Over the course of your coaching session, learn to find out what kitesurfing is all about. It will take a good few hours (average 6-8 hours) to become competent to take your own equipment out, but with the help of your instructor, you will make huge strides in a short amount of time.
