Once we’re in the mood for adventure and exploration, we’ll visit the vibrant Berber village of Setti Fatma, tucked in a canyon beneath the High Atlas mountains, famous for its seven stunning waterfalls. We’ll make sure to arrive early to avoid the tourist crowds and enjoy the tranquility, while taking in the breathtaking panoramic views of the area! You’ll be able to hike to the waterfalls with a local guide, provided at no additional cost, who will lead you through the journey. Along the way, you’ll also walk by the Ourika river, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes!

After capturing some epic shots with breathtaking backgrounds or simply taking the time to reconnect with yourself, and following a visit to a women’s organic Argan oil cooperative to learn about the health benefits of Morocco’s most precious natural gift, it’s time for a delicious, mouthwatering lunch! To avoid tourist traps and overpriced restaurants, you’ll enjoy a traditional meal with a local Berber family in their home. You’ll indulge in a fresh Moroccan salad, the main dish—a mouthwatering, slowly-cooked Berber Tajine with vegetables and meat—and fresh seasonal fruits. Homemade, hearty, wholesome, and healthy! To top it off, you’ll be treated to Moroccan tea and a local pastry to fill your belly with joy!

On your way back to Marrakech, if you wish to supplement your experience, you can also visit a traditional handicraft pottery workshop or/and a local Berber store displaying traditional carpets woven in the High Atlas mountains.
