Day 1:
We start early from the city of Palenque, and after a couple of hours, we visit the Bonampak archaeological site, famous for its well-preserved and significant Mayan mural paintings. Then, we transfer to Campamento Río Lacanjá located in the renowned Lacandon Jungle, where we'll embark on a rafting journey along the Lacanjá River. The first part of the rafting involves navigating through a sequence of waterfalls, lasting approximately one hour, with smaller cascades (less than one metre) and some larger class III ones (up to 2.50 metres high). Following this, we'll embark on a 15-minute hike to the Lacanjá archaeological zone located near the river. Next, we visit the Moctuniha waterfalls, where we'll swim and enjoy lunch. We return by foot through the jungle to the campsite, where we'll sleep to the chorus of howler monkeys. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner included)

Day 2:
Early morning, we depart for the community of Frontera Corozal, where we'll board a motorboat to navigate the Usumacinta River, the mightiest river in Mexico, until we reach the lost city of Yaxchilán. Situated amidst the jungle, Yaxchilán is one of Chiapas' most astonishing archaeological sites, with temples rising amidst the greenery. We return to Palenque by 6:00 pm. End of service.
