Mero Beach

A volcanic black sand beach which you are on as you step out of the van. Local restaurants and bars are on site with options to rent recliner chairs and umbrellas. Fresh water shows and wash room visits are included.

Der Ausflug war von Anfang bis Ende hervorragend. Georginia ist als Guide großartig, auch unser Fahrer war super. Wir sind begeistert, dass wir diese Tour gebucht haben! Tolle Natur, schöne Erlebnisse und gute Planung.

What a wonderful day we had with Pepper and Georgianna! These two were the best hosts for our first visit to Dominica. We were able to see so many special sites on our nearly 6 hour tour. We never felt rushed at any stop and were the first ones to visit the Emerald Pool! If you are on a cruise ship. Depart as soon as the ship is cleared so you get a head start on the tour. The early bird catches the Emerald Pool empty! Pepper was the best driver and while the roads were crazy windy, Pepper's driving was 5 stars! The entire drive Georgianna shared great facts about her home country. We will be back and would love to take another Pepper tour. We might even stay at Suite Pepper!!

Wonderful, wonderful tour! Our tour guide gave us as much information about Dominica as the sites we visited. Our driver ensured everyone met their respective itineraries and drop offs. A must do to get a local feel for the island and its natural treasures ❤️. Don’t book anywhere else but here!

Pepper, our driver, was an excellent tour guide for selected tour and flexible to adjust our tour based on local conditions (weather, etc). Dante, who provided the narrative during the 6 hour tour was excellent as well and provided a wealth of information throughout our tour. We had 6 persons, friends, on our tour and very happy with flexibility, tour, safety and information provided throughout our 6 hour tour of Trafalgar Falls, champagne beach, lunch stop and sulfur bath.

I try and let others know what I wish I had known before booking, so here it is. The communication with this vendor was horrible. I had to reach out to them to find out where to meet and what time. They said as soon as you can get off the ship. When we did get off and we're at the meeting point nobody was there. Another vendor called them for me and we were told to go to a different meeting point. We did find them and got on the tour. We asked how long the tour was they said 4,6 or 7 hours? We were concerned with getting back on time as were others so we requested 4 hours. The drive to the Emerald pool is on a long windy narrow road. The waterfall and pool were amazing. Then another long drive to the black sand beach. The beach and water were beautiful but primitive. Not much in the way of food, services, and you can rent a chair with an umbrella for $20. We had some Rum punch and were on our way. We made it back in the 4 hours. A lot of driving for a beautiful waterfall picture.
