What you can expect

The Panchase Trek is a popular trekking route near Pokhara, Nepal, offering stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range. This four-day trek combines the beauty of nature with cultural experiences, as you pass through charming villages and lush forests. Here's an overview of the 4-day Panchase Trek itinerary with an Annapurna Panoramic view:

Day 1: Pokhara to Bhumdi (1,520m)
The trek begins with a short drive from Pokhara to Khare Khola, where the trail officially starts. From there, you'll hike uphill through terraced fields and dense forests, gradually ascending to the village of Bhumdi. Enjoy the panoramic views of the Pokhara Valley and the snow-capped mountains in the distance.

Day 2: Bhumdi to Panchase Bhanjyang (2,070m)
After breakfast, you'll continue your trek towards Panchase Bhanjyang. The trail winds through rhododendron forests, offering beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes. As you reach Panchase Bhanjyang, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Dhaulagiri, and other peaks.

Day 3: Panchase Bhanjyang to Bhadaure (1,670m)
Today's trek takes you through a mix of forests, terraced fields, and traditional Gurung and Brahmin villages. You'll descend to Bhadaure, where you can explore the village and interact with the friendly locals. Enjoy the peaceful ambiance and immerse yourself in the local culture.

Day 4: Bhadaure to Naudanda and return to Pokhara
On the final day, you'll continue your descent to Naudanda, another scenic viewpoint. From here, you'll be able to enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, as well as the Pokhara Valley. After capturing the breathtaking views, you'll descend further to Naudanda and drive back to Pokhara, where the trek concludes.

It's important to note that the Panchase Trek is a relatively easier trek compared to some of the longer and more strenuous treks in the Annapurna region. However, it still requires a moderate level of fitness and endurance. It's recommended to hire a local guide or join a trekking agency to ensure your safety and make the most of your experience.

Remember to pack appropriate trekking gear, including comfortable walking shoes, warm clothing, a rain jacket, a hat, sun cream, insect repellent, and a water bottle. Additionally, carry some cash, as ATM facilities may not be readily available in some villages along the trail.

Enjoy your trek and the mesmerising panoramic views of the Annapurna mountains during the Panchase Trek!
