Activity itinerary

Positano
  • 1h
Positano: The Jewel of the Amalfi Coast Positano, the Amalfi Coast's first gem, is a place of legend and beauty. Originating from a mystical tale, the Church of Santa Maria Assunta was built to honour a miraculous icon of a Black Virgin. The village flourished around it, with colourful houses cascading down terraced cliffs to the Tyrrhenian Sea. Wander through charming alleys, lined with boutiques showcasing elegant Positano fashion. Relax on the sun-kissed beach, or explore the panoramic viewpoints. As John Steinbeck once said, "Positano strikes deeply," and its magic is unforgettable. Discover this coastal paradise with Di Sarno Car Service.
Amalfi
  • 1h 30m
Amalfi: A Timeless Gem of the Amalfi Coast Amalfi, the heart of the coast, is rich in history and legend. Myth says Hercules planted the first Amalfi lemon in memory of his nymph, Amalphes. Once a powerful Maritime Republic, Amalfi pioneered trade and seafaring innovations. The Cathedral of Saint Andrew, a stunning blend of Arab-Norman and Baroque styles, stands as a centrepiece. Stroll through medieval alleys, enjoy local cuisine, and savour a Campari Amalfi by the sea. Let Di Sarno Car Service guide you through the vibrant culture and timeless charm of Amalfi, a place where history meets the everyday magic of coastal life.
Ravello
  • 1h 30m
Ravello: The City of Music and Eternal Beauty Perched high above the Amalfi Coast, Ravello is known for its stunning vistas, musical heritage, and artistic charm. Founded in the 5th century as a refuge from pirate raids, Ravello’s hilltop location offers breathtaking views. The iconic Villa Rufolo inspired Wagner's "Parsifal," leading to the famous Ravello Music Festival. Explore the lush gardens of Villa Cimbrone, including the Terrace of Infinity, with its heavenly panoramas. Discover historic sites like the Coral Museum and enjoy the serenity of this cultural haven. Experience Ravello’s timeless beauty with Di Sarno Car Service.

The bus was very comfortable with a small group. Bonnie was our driver and he made the experience fun filled and enjoyable. The drive was safe and full of beautiful sights. Plenty of time to explore on your own. Do your research beforehand to know what to do at each place. Overall a positive experience.

Mario is one of the most gregarious people I've ever met. He was also a careful driver, which was very welcome given how terrifying these roads are. This was a great tour, though if you're prone to motion sickness, you should take precautions.

It was off season hence there were less crowds at sites and less traffic on the roads. The pick up and itinerary was as described. The vehicle used was clean and comfortable. We were lucky with excellent weather.

The bus was comfortable and our driver and guide were great, even with the difficulties we had. Our first bus broke down so we had to wait for a replacement. We had a group of 8 people that made things difficult for our guide as they had to catch their plane. Time was cut short in amalfi and Ravello. Why someone would book an 8 hour tour the day they are leaving is beyond me. Things Jalen and you have to be flexible.

I can fully recommend this tour. Luca is an experienced driver and provided detailed information and scheduled additional stops in the itinerary. A great benefit compared to another touroperator which drove me the previous day to Pompei is that this tour operator uses a smaller minivan. Given the narrow streets at the coast, this is an absolute must. We encoutered the other tour operator actually on the way and it was struggling to pass other cars. The amalfi coast is truly beautiful. We were in luck with the weather. Positano is nice, but nothing special, although it is nice to get a view from the beach. Amalfi is larger and especially the duomo is worth visiting (we also got this recommendation by Luca). The attached cloister is very beautiful with moorish elements and there is a small museum. A quick pizza slice at panificio algelica was perfect in Amalfi and allowed ample time to visit the duomo. The most beautiful place of the tour was Ravello. The garden at and the views from the villa Rufolo are really stunning (really worth paying the entrance fee). The way back through the milky mountains was impressive as well. Overall very happy with the tour

The trip was enjoyable, and I would recommend it to the extent you would like to drive through a lot of the Amalfi coast without (i) arranging public transit/taxi service or (ii) driving yourself. That being being, there are a couple of things that I think are helpful to know. 1. Advertised tours can be combined with others if they aren't full. We booked Positano, Amalfi & Ravello, but there was also a Positano, Amalfi & Sorrento tour that day. Of the 8 of us on the tur, half had booked for Ravello and half had boked for Sorrento. The tour guide told us that Ravello is terrible in off season because things are closed and encouraged us to all agree with seeing Sorrento instead. This was fine with me - but it would have been awkward to say no, I really want to see Ravello, not Sorrento. 2. The itinerary is not followed. We did not actually stop in Positano because "everything is closed" in off season, and he instead encouraged use all to go to a winery in Pompeii, so we only got a total of 1 hour in Sorrento and 1 hour in Amalfi (plus two other ~15 minute stops overlooking Positano and stopping at a Limoncello place). The tour guide did ask us - but it was in a very leading way. Like so much is closed right now in off season, it's not as fun as it usually is, would you like to go to a winery instead. I was okay with the changes - but if anyone was not okay with it, it would have been awkward for them to disagree and say no, I booked the Amalfi coast so I want to stay on the Amalfi coast. 3. HUGE focus on shops, not necessarily sites. On the way to Sorrento, we stopped at a limoncello place that was very tourist and overprice, and stayed about 15 minutes for samples and to try to get us to buy stuff. A lot of the same gifts were for sale much cheaper in town. 4. The winery in Pompeii that the driver encouraged us to agree to go to instead of staying in Amalfi was overpriced and touristy. The wine was EXCELLENT - but the meal was overpriced and just okay. I enjoyed the experience; it just was not what was booked. So, if you are booking this tour because you really want this exact itinerary, just keep in mind that it really depends on the driver, the group, and if you got combined with other tours. I went in Feb. 2025 so it WAS off season - I imagine in summertime, it is much busier and things are open. One other tip: If you get car sick/motion sick, you may want to bring medicine. The roads are twisty and there is a lot of elevation!

Vinny made this tour amazing!! We adore him! I booked this shared tour for my mom and l with thought and high expectations and it was better than anything I thought and hoped for! We went in late February so the weather wasn't perfect but the timing sure was! There were little to no crowds-even at the most iconic photo opts, it was just our small group of 8! 1 am so glad l booked this tour. It was absolutely more than we expected and totally worth it! We actually booked the Positano, Amalfi and Ravello tour but we are so pleased we were added to this group that did Sorrento instead of Ravello! We cannot imagine this tour without Sorrento-it totally made the experience whole. Thank you Vinny!! We had such a wonderful time and it sure is the highlight of our time in Naples!
