In addition, the museum also features a rich collection of archaeological artefacts from the Mayan culture, giving you an in-depth look at the ancient history of the area. After the museum, the adventure continues at the Eco Muro Olopa in Chiquimula, where the largest giant swing in Guatemala awaits you. This is not just a swing, it is a unique experience that combines spectacular views with a thrilling dose of adrenaline. Swinging on this swing will allow you to feel the thrill while contemplating the breathtaking natural scenery that surrounds you. After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we invite you to discover Copán Ruinas, a hidden treasure in western Honduras, in the Department of Copán, located just 14 kilometres from the El Florido border with Guatemala. This site has been famous for many years, not only for its beauty and mystery, but also for being a vital centre of the Mayan civilisation, recognised as an Archaeological Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 1980. Today, Copán Ruinas is affectionately known as the “Paris of the Mayan world” in Central America, due to its sophistication and the exceptional detail of its sculptures and architecture. This Mayan city stands out for having the most elaborate decoration of all, with stelae featuring 3D designs that will leave you in awe. Visiting Copán Ruinas is like walking through an open-air art gallery, where each carved stone tells a fascinating storey of Mayan splendour.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for an enchanting experience at the Sunflower Farm in Esquipulas. This natural place stands out for its beautiful field of sunflowers, arranged in perfect rows that create a breathtaking visual spectacle. We will also visit the Basilica of Esquipulas, the largest church in Central America and unique in the Americas for its design. Inside this majestic basilica is the Black Christ, a venerated image that dates back to 1595 and attracts thousands of pilgrims every year. Continuing our exploration, we will head towards the Ipala Volcano. This impressive natural formation reaches an altitude of 1,650 metres above sea level and is composed of multiple strata of hardened lava. The volcano's crater, with a diameter of 1,000 metres, houses a lagoon that extends up to 150 metres below the crater rim, offering spectacular views and a tranquil environment to enjoy nature in its purest state.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will head towards an impressive natural spectacle: Los Amates Waterfall, also known as El Salto or Niagara. This name is due to the fact that it is located on a farm and along a river of the same name, evoking the majesty of the famous Niagara Falls. The waterfall stands out for its beautiful and clean waters, ideal for a refreshing dip in an enchanting natural environment. With an impressive drop of more than 50 metres high and approximately 20 metres long, Los Amates Waterfall is a true spectacle for the eyes and a perfect oasis for nature lovers and those seeking a quiet escape in the heart of the Guatemalan landscape.

After breakfast at the hotel, an exciting day awaits you at the Chiquimulilla Canal, a beautiful man-made canal that plays a crucial role as a habitat for diverse plant and animal species. Surrounded by vibrant and lively mangroves, this canal offers the perfect opportunity to embark on a boat ride, immersing yourself in a lush natural environment. During our tour, you will participate in mangrove reforestation and enjoy bird watching, exploring the different types of mangroves that make up this unique ecosystem. In addition, if your visit coincides with the months of September through December, you will have the opportunity to participate in a truly special experience: the release of turtles in the Monterrico Nature Reserve. In Guatemala, the species of sea turtle that is released is the “Parlama”, whose incubation time is 45 to 50 days, an exciting and enriching experience that you won't want to miss!

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to charming Antigua Guatemala, a jewel of colonial architecture recognised by UNESCO as a “World Heritage Site”. Upon arrival, you will be immersed in a fascinating guided tour that will take you to discover some of the city's most emblematic sites. We will explore the majestic Metropolitan Cathedral, stroll through the vibrant Central Plaza and visit the historic Palacio de los Capitanes. In addition, we will guide you through other important historical sites that make Antigua a must-see destination for any history and culture lover.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will take you to Hobbitenango, a theme park inspired by “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings” films. This charming place offers a variety of activities that capture the essence of these famous stories. You can enjoy games inspired by the films, play miniature golf, swing on a giant swing and admire the scenery from various vantage points. Also, don't miss the opportunity to have your picture taken at the iconic giant hand, from where you can capture spectacular views of the valley. On the other hand, Altamira is a natural park perfect for nature lovers and outdoor activities. Here you will find rustic games and giant wooden figures, ideal for a fun and memorable photo shoot. Both destinations offer a perfect combination of adventure and relaxation amidst breathtaking landscapes, making your visit an unforgettable experience.

Our activity will start early in the morning with a trip to the airport where you will take a short 45-minute flight to Petén. Once you arrive in Petén we will have a transfer to Tikal, which will take 90 minutes. Then we will start our tour with a guide specialised in archaeology.

Once you get to Tikal, you will have the unique opportunity to explore the world's most famous Mayan city complex. Climb to the top of Temple IV of the Two-Headed Serpent, which at over 65 metres high, is the tallest pyramid in Tikal and offers unparalleled panoramic views of the jungle and the other Mayan structures emerging from the treetops. Tikal was once home to more than 60,000 people, ruled by 33 leaders over some 800 years. This place is so fascinating and steeped in history that once you are there, you will be so captivated by its beauty and mystery that you will want to stay a moment longer to continue exploring and absorbing the magnificent atmosphere of this world-renowned archaeological site.

Afterwards, you will take a flight back to Guatemala City and we will head to your hotel so you can rest.
