FIROSTEFANI is one of the caldera villages of Santorini. It is located between Fira and Imerovigli and offers the best view of the island's volcano, which is why the most expensive hotels and villas of Santorini are concentrated here. Usually Firostefani is not on maps because it seems to be like a area of the capital Fira - there is no border between the two.
MEGALOCHORI is a maze of winding streets, with whitewashed houses and churches with blue domes and ornate bell towers. Accessed by a steep path and overlooking the Santorini caldera, the churches of Agios Nikolaos and Panagia tis Plaka are built on the edge of the cliff.

PERISSA is a coastal village of Santorini, which is located at its southeastern end, at a distance of 13 kilometres from Fira. It is known for its black beach.

PROPHET ILIAS is a mountain of Santorini with a maximum altitude of 567 metres. At the top of the mountain there is the Monastery of Prophet Ilias. The mountain of Prophet Ilias together with Mesa Vounos, the hill of Gavrilos and the rock Monolithos make up the pre-volcanic parts of Santorini
OIA is a traditional settlement of Santorini and is the seat of the former community of Oia, as it was formed with the Kapodistria Plan. It is also called Apano Meria or Anomeria and the inhabitants are Apanomerites. It is located at the northern end of the island, at a distance of 11 kilometres northwest of Fira and at an altitude of about 121 metres.
It is considered one of the most picturesque places in Greece, with a strong traditional character and is world famous for its sunset.
