Overview

The northern region of Qatar is characterised by a diverse geography that encompasses both coastal and inland areas. The northern coastal area of Qatar stretches along the Persian Gulf. It is known for its picturesque sandy beaches. Moving inland from the coast, the geography of the North of Qatar transitions into vast expanses of flat, sandy plains. The Al Zubarah Peninsula is a prominent geographical feature in the North of Qatar. It is home to the Al Zubarah Archaeological Site (UNESCO world heritage site). These plains are mostly notable for Al-jubail village and its mangrove ecosystems, particularly in areas like Al Thakira and Purple Island. We will provide you with an opportunity to experience the marine and inland treasures of Qatar.
