The tour begins at the 1st bus station in Dolna Matka, from where we’ll head along the main road to Gorna Matka. On the way, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

This easy trail offers panoramic views, perfect for stopping and soaking in the scenery. Don’t forget your hats and sun cream – we’ll make plenty of stops along the way to take in the incredible views.

We’ll arrive at a stunning spot shaded by ancient trees. The yard of the Sv. Spas Church holds three other churches, marking the area as the historical heart of Matka. The church itself is located on the grounds where the first village from the 14th century was founded. The area is rich in history, nestled in the rocks and offering an excellent place for a picnic or relaxation.
