Activity itinerary

Wrexham Lager Brewery Shop
  • 10m
Wrexham Lager stands as a national treasure, cherished not only in Wales but across all of Great Britain. Conceived by two German immigrants, this crisp and refreshing lager holds the distinction of being the oldest in the UK.
The Fat Boar (Pass by)
The Fat Boar is a beloved hotspot, frequented by everyone from Wrexham AFC staff to locals in search of a great meal. But there’s more to this pub than its delicious food and drinks—its exterior murals are the real showstopper. The vibrant murals on the Fat Boar’s walls have drawn crowds of Wrexham AFC fans, Welsh National Team supporters, and even visitors inspired by Welcome to Wrexham. While you’re here, you can snap a photo with the current mural, discover the stories behind past designs that once graced the walls, and learn why some murals had to be altered for legal reasons. It’s a unique blend of art, history, and football culture you won’t want to miss!
St Giles Parish Church
  • 10m
St Giles Parish Church is a breathtaking architectural masterpiece, regarded as one of Wales's most exquisite examples of church construction. It gained further fame as the setting where Rob and Ryan met Reverend Dr. Jason Bray, the exorcist priest featured in Season One of Welcome to Wrexham.
Wrexham General Market
  • 15m
Wrexham Market is a bustling hub where many of the town’s well-known personalities work, gather, and share their thoughts on the ups and downs of the football season.
Lot 11 Cafe
  • 10m
Lot 11 Café offers the perfect spot to grab a quick snack and a drink in a setting beloved by Wrexham AFC players. This charming boutique café gained fame in Welcome to Wrexham when Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer enjoyed breakfast here during season one. It’s a must-visit for fans looking to experience a slice of the team’s local haunts and your guide will give you a few moments to purchase some refreshments should you wish.
Wrexham Miners Project
  • 10m
The Wrexham Miners Project is a unique museum. Like many historic buildings in Wrexham, it was saved by the local community and transformed into a museum.
The Racecourse Ground
  • 10m
The Racecourse Ground (or Cae Ras in Welsh) is the world's oldest international football stadium still in continuous use. Today, it stands proudly alongside larger, more modern venues like Wembley and serves as the home of Wrexham AFC—the oldest football club in Wales. Sadly, we're unable to get access to the club, but it's still worth stopping here and learning about the Club, and grounds, fascinating history.
Wrexham AFC Club Shop
  • 10m
At the Wrexham AFC Club Shop you will be able to shop until you drop! Why not pick up this season's home and away shirts, or if you like something a bit more exciting, why not purchase a cuddly toy to take home and cuddle whilst you think of Rob and Ryan....
Turf Hotel
  • 10m
The Turf’s landlord, Wayne, is one of the most beloved characters from Welcome to Wrexham, and we highly recommend stopping here at the end of the tour for a drink or bite to eat. If you’re lucky, Wayne himself might serve you—or you might spot him dashing off to film the next season!
