A lovely farm — we visited Raitola Reindeer Farm. The temperature was -20°C, so it was very cold. At the entrance, there were 4 reindeer that you could feed, but you need to be very careful. After that, we waited about 20 minutes in line to go for a ride. The ride lasted around 7 minutes, but the highlight was that you get to guide your reindeer yourself. Afterward, we were invited into a cozy house with a fireplace, where they served tea and buns, and shared interesting information about reindeer. also you will get a reindeer driving license.

Initially the tour operator would not respond to me about pickup. I was staying outside of the pickup area and needed to know where to meet them. I had to contact Get Your Guide for assistance. The day of the activity, the guide was an hour late picking me up with no communication. He was pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. The reindeer farm was well kept and the individuals there were interactive. You can tell they care for and about their animals. Overall there were too many people there at one time and all activities felt rushed.

Very interesting. I like it very much. Reindeer are cute, and the feeding process is particularly fun. The reindeer sleigh is very interesting. Each reindeer has its own name. The staff enthusiastically took photos of us and introduced our reindeer. I think this activity is very good.

As we were with children, I would expect that we ride with the reindeers at first. Instead we waited a little bit for our turn and it was -22°C outsider.

The transportation felt slightly chaotic as the driver couldn’t speak English and when we arrived there was no record of our booking! There was also no communication about what time the tour finished and we should be back at the van. The tour was also rearranged to a later time slot of 11:30am at midnight the same day which was a bit frustrating. The reindeer farm is quite small, a short ride of 400m which takes 5 minutes and then a sit in a hut with a drink and dry cinnamon roll. I wouldn’t recommend apart from the fact the reindeers do seem well looked after. Spend the money on a reindeer ride at the Santa Claus Village and the petting farm where you can actually feed the reindeers

Run away from this scam, you're paying 5 times more for an activity than if you went through the farm's website. What's more, we waited 40 minutes outside before the guide finally asked us to go on our own. The activity lasted 40 minutes, as opposed to the 2 hours promised by the website.
