We had an amazing experience with Vail, our guide, whose storytelling skills brought the city’s history to life. Every stop was filled with fascinating facts and anecdotes that made us see the city in a whole new way. Her passion and depth of knowledge made the tour both educational and entertaining, and we left with a much richer understanding of San Miguel’s de Allende’s history and culture.

Elissa was a great tour guide, not just knowledgeable about the region's chocolate, but the history behind each type we tried, too. I also didn't expect a full meal & dessert in addition to chocolate tastings, but we got chicken mole enchiladas & ice cream, too. It was really fun, filling, & each place was easily walkable.

Its a food tour with only a little bit of history. Its clear that the various stops we made weren't expecting us which presented a few challenges in space a food prep. Our guide was lovely but very soft spoken, and on occasion we shared spaces with other guides who were much louder, making it challenging. Also I thought it would contain more history than it did. If your main focus is the chocolate, this is a great tour, but you will still need to do another tour to get the history of San Miguel.

Our tour was great! Sam was very knowledgeable about the history of chocolate and it's relationship to San Miguel. We liked the Agua de Cacao and the mole as well as the gorgeous locations that Sam chose to take us to to try out the various ways that chocolate is used in restaurants around the town.

Super leuke tour met lekkere chocolade gerechten op verschillende locaties. De gids wist veel te vertellen en op een leuke manier over te brengen. Smakelijke interessante tour!
