Get picked up from your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama in the morning, at a time to be determined by the weather conditions in the Andes mountain range. Drive towards the Paso Jama route, where you will make your first stop at a viewpoint close to the Licancabus Volcano at 12,800 feet above sea level.
At the stop, there will be time for photos and to enjoy a light breakfast and a hot drink after a 15-minute warm-up activity. Continue towards the top of Cerro Toco, until reaching the highest point of around 17,000 feet.
Here, your guides will give you a safety briefing and get you kitted out in your gear. Hop aboard your professional bike after having it adjusted to your specific needs. Then, the real fun begins as you head down a 15-mile descent on a circuit consisting of mixed landscapes.
Cruise through dirt, rocks, and compact terrain throughout the course, while always accompanied by professional guides. If you'd like, stop for breaks to catch your breath and check out the scenery. At the end of the experience, you will be greeted with a cold drink typical of Chile before returning to San Pedro de Atacama.
