Akata Great Buddh (Pass by)
The Akada Great Buddha (Akada Daibutsu) is a significant Buddhist heritage site located in Yurihonjo City, Akita Prefecture, and is cherished as a symbol of the region. Officially known as the Wooden Standing Statue of the Eleven-Faced Kannon, this historical statue is believed to have been crafted approximately 800 years ago and holds immense cultural value. Standing at a height of approximately 9.2 metres, it is one of the largest wooden Buddha statues in Japan.
