Your adventure begins at the start of the Matukituki Valley just out of Wanaka. Upon arrival, a friendly staff member briefs you and guides you to the helicopter. Hop on board, take off and look out over the magnificent mountainous terrain of Mount Aspiring National Park. Take in breathtaking views of the mountains and fly through an extensive valley carved by glaciers thousands of years ago.

Then land on top of one of the glaciers and stand awestruck before the picture-perfect scenery of the Southern Alps. Breathe in fresh air and take photos of this stunning place. Back on board the helicopter, fly over more dramatic mountain ranges and return above the turquoise blue-braided Matukituki River to the hangar.
