What you can expect

Cruise away from the capital heading south towards the spectacular south coast of Iceland. The south coast of Iceland is like no other, filled with many of Iceland‘s top attractions. On this tour, you will venture off the typical tourist track towards the magnificent Katla Ice Cave. Experience the true beauty of Mother Nature‘s power on this day tour available directly from Reykjavik.

Meet up with your ice cave guide at Vik i Myrdal where you will join a super jeep ride to the roots of Myrdalsjokull, the glacier on top of Katla volcano. Upon arrival you will see the stunning glacier layers and blue ice formations. Now there is nothing left but to put your glacier gear on and explore the magnificant ice cave, prepare to walk into a film scene as you approach the entrance of the cave. The glistening ice and epic blue colours will leave you breathless as you walk around and take your time exploring all that this stunning natural phenomenon has to offer.

After admiring the true natural beauty of the cave you will start making your way back to Reykjavik where your tour concludes, stopping first in the charming village of Vik and at both Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss Waterfalls which are among some of the most visited attractions of the phenomenal south coast of Iceland.
