Your private driver will collect you from your hotel at 8:30 am to visit the Trou aux Cerfs which is a dormant volcano located in Curepipe with a well-defined cone and crater. The crater has been alternatively described as 300 and 350 metres in diameter, and is 80 metres deep. You can also spot Reunion Island on the Horizon.
A stop to Mare aux Vacoas the largest reservoir in Mauritius located in the southwest of the island, to the south of the town of Curepipe. It has a capacity of 25,890,000 cubic metres and provides water to the upper Plaines Wilhems and to Moka. It was constructed in 1885.
Continue your visit to Grand Bassin also called Ganga Talao the sacred site crater lake where you will see giant Statues of Lord Shiva and Goddess Durga. Grand Bassin is a crater lake about 550 metres above sea level with a depth of between 50 and 55 feet.
The next stop will be the Black River Gorges National Park, is park in the hilly south-western part of Mauritius. It covers an area of 67.54 km² including humid upland forest, drier lowland forest and marshy heathland. A tour to the road of tea Plantation called Bois Cheri so that you can smell the leaves of the plantation.
Some free time will be given to you to have lunch , the driver will stop at the restaurant of (Le Palmier) where you have delicious Mauritian menu. (Lunch not Included)
A tour to the Rhumerie of Chamarel where you will have your time to visit and taste of Mauritius native Rum.
Our last Stop is Chamarel where you will be impressed by the shades of the 7 colours earth. In the same area you will also visit Chamarel Waterfall fed by the waters of three distinct streams pouring into Saint Denis River, it has a powerful rush with a peak flow rate in excess of 40,000 m³ per minute.
After 7 - 8 hours of exploring , your driver will head back to your hotel .
