Bac Sum Slope is a special destination known for its majestic and pristine scenery in the Northeastern highlands, along with challenging winding roads. This slope is a coveted destination for many who wish to conquer it when visiting Ha Giang, the land at the country's extremity.

The imposing, formidable landscape had us in awe as our car snaked along the treacherous roads, clinging to the side of the mountain. With a sheer drop on one side and cliffs rising up into the clouds on the other, it was as if God had chalked a line across the harsh terrain. From the top of the mountain pass, we looked down across a large valley of unending terraced fields, displaying a charming beauty like a paradise dimly visible through the clouds. They carpet the ground in a patchwork of yellow rice, green shoots and brown mountain earth, with small houses nestled in between.

Lung Tam in Quan Ba is a picturesque village known for its traditional linen weaving. Nestled among the serene mountains of Ha Giang, this village is home to the Hmong people, who have preserved their age-old craft of making linen. Visitors to Lung Tam can witness the meticulous process of creating linen, from growing flax to weaving fabric, all done by hand using ancient techniques.
