This morning, you will be picked up at the hotel. Your first stop is at Nyaung U market, a vibrant local market that is really busy with vendors selling a wide range of products in the morning. After that, you will pay a visit to Shwezigon Pagoda, whose legend behind its creation is realised by a few people, is one of Bagan's most famous sites. Its large golden bell-shaped pagoda situated upon three terraces is the centre piece of Shwezigon. Although once featured wood carvings of nat spirits, the lower-most terrace are now housed in a small hall within the grounds of the temple.
Next, you will keep on moving to Tu Yin Taung, a hilltop stupa located in the eastern part of the major Archaeological Park. As approaching the temple 500 monk statues which line the road will greet you. Thanks to the elevated location of the stupa, it brings you stunning views of the surrounding plains, a unique panoramic view of Bagan together with its surroundings.
Lawka Nandar which is in New Bagan next to the Irrawaddy River is your next stop. Lawka Nandar is a bulbous stupa featuring three octagonal terraces as a base and a cylindrical bell.
