We were picked up at our hotel and rode to the other side of the island for about an hour. As we arrived the friendly staff signed us in and tried selling us on tourist items. As we waited for another 2hrs they called us over and lined up to "swim" with pigs. In all reality we waded in knee deep water as pigs ate apples off of sticks that were provided for 10min. Then we walked into a fenced area as we were allowed to hold a baby pig for a quick picture. We waited for another 2hrs for the bus to leave. Turned into a 2hr ride back being that they had everyone on the same bus going to different locations which obviously made it a longer trip back. Wasn't really bad or good or worth the 90 bucks per person

This experience was a must! The beach area is small and jam packed BUT the food was great and affordable. Major Brooks was awesome....NOBODY leaves without a great experience feeding and interacting with the pigs, not on his watch! They picked us up from our resort, included us with the cruise ship people, and dropped us back off at the resort. Calls and questions were answered immediately. Definitely a must!!

We wouldn’t know how the experience was because it was cancelled. We called to schedule for our transportation with the people who run this business and they didn’t know anyone had even booked for that day. They said it had been cancelled anyways due to ships coming in. After speaking with locals we learned this is a regular occurrence. Also, others had scheduled their transportation with the business and no one ever showed up to pick them up. If you are going to the Bahamas and want to swim with the pigs like I wanted to, I was told that this experience is nothing like the Bahamas swimming pigs you have see online or on TV which are located in the Exumas. If you’re looking to swim with the Bahamas pigs, go to the Exumas. Regarding Grand Bahama Island, it was amazing and beautiful. I highly recommend going there, just not for the swimming pigs! We did go on the West End Ecos stingray trip instead though and we highly recommend that tour!

For a start they didn’t pick us up from the hotel. We called the day before to arrange pick up everything was okayed and they was picking us up the morning after at 10:30 am. The morning came and no one was to be seen we was waiting for one hour at reception, the security guy called to see where our transport was and they turned around to say the pigs are closed today and the trip isn’t on, even after confirming the pick up time we was never made aware of this! We’re gutted as we can all the way to Freeport to see these pigs. Not happy and would NOT recommend this company. They haven’t offered us a refund.
