What you can expect

Discover the highlights of Blue Mountains National Park on this guided tour from Sydney. Begin with pickup at selected pickup points in the city, then drive to Sydney Zoo on the way to the Blue Mountains. Stop at the zoo and have the option to buy an entry ticket on the day.

If you enter the zoo, enjoy a great opportunity to meet Australian wildlife like kangaroos, koalas, dingoes, wombats, Tasmanian devils, echidna, and more. See Asian and African animals such as cheetahs, lions, red pandas, elephants, a Sumatran tiger, and more.

From Sydney Zoo, continue to Kings Tableland or Evans Lookout, the best places to view the wilderness of the Blue Mountains away from the large tourist buses. Then, follow your guide on a bushwalk to one of the most spectacular lookout points in the Blue Mountains, Wentworth Falls or Katoomba Falls.

Next, spend some free time exploring Leura, a picturesque village known as the “Garden Village.” Browse the shops and take your pick from a range of lunch options (at your own expense) in a popular village Sydney locals love.

After the lunch break, move on to Katoomba, the centre of the Blue Mountains and the gateway to its two most popular tourist attractions: the Three Sisters rock formation and Scenic World. At Three Sisters, hear the Aboriginal legends about this famous rock formation, then continue to Scenic World.

While at Scenic World, enjoy all the features that one of Australia’s most visited tourist attractions offers, for additional costs on the day. Ride Skyway, Australia’s highest cable car, or Cableway, Australia’s biggest cable car.

Take the chance to head up the steepest incline passenger-carrying railway in the world on the Scenic World Railway, or stroll across the 2.4-kilometer Walkway inside a temperate rainforest, the longest elevated boardwalk in Australia.

With your guide, learn about aboriginal rock engravings and the First Nations people, thought to have arrived in the area many years ago. After Scenic World, drive through Homebush Bay, home of the 2000 Olympic Games.

For the last leg of your return trip, escape nasty afternoon traffic and unwind on an afternoon ferry cruise along Parramatta River to Sydney Harbour and Sydney city centre, where your tour ends.

It was really nice guide! Our guide Les was really helpful guide and nice storyteller. We enjoyed really much the trip. Also you can pay for everything extra if you like to guide by card and cash. We saw everything in a day! But unfortunately it's not enough for multiple rides in "Scenic World". But one ride on each you'll get. So keep it in mind. Les is best tour guide ever. Really enjoyed his stories!❤️

The tour of the Blue Mountains was incredible. Awesome views, scenery to die for. Sydney zoo and scenic world are well worth the visit. But the greatest attraction on the tour was Les (the guide) He made an already great day greater. Great enthusiasm and customer service making sure all those on board were well catered for and personalised the tour to accommodate the weather conditions using local knowledge. Passion for the job came across in abundance. Delivered with a good sense of humour. Would have happily spent the day driving around with Les looking at the views listening to his outstanding informative banter. Someone at ABC needs to give this man his own educational program to inform, educate and entertain.

A great day out. Bruce was very informative throughout the whole day. Plenty of time at all stops but obviously there’s an additional cost for entry, well worth it though. Hope you found the debit card Bruce 😉

Coach service was efficient and comfy Clear instructions from the guide around pick ups and drop offs Very knowledgeable guide - knew a great deal about the local / national history of the places we visited. Weather was awful but the guide (Bruce) managed to squeeze value for money out of the situation.

Due to constant rain and cloudy weather we didn’t see much of Blue Mountains. However Les the Guide informative and clever so made the trip fun. Would do again if we could guarantee weather and scenic railways were open.
