Know before you book

  • At least 2 people are required for this activity to take place.
  • This activity is wheelchair accessible if you have a collapsible wheelchair. A paying adult must accompany you for assistance with the wheelchair.
  • A nominal surcharge for Admission fees is payable on the day of your activity.
  • Return transport is available from most centrally located Puerto Madryn hotels. Please arrange pickup from your hotel or a nearby location when you call to confirm your reservation. If yout hotel is outside the pick-up area we will assign you the closest meeting point.
  • Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time.

What you can expect

We will start leaving our selected hotels at approximately 11:00 AM to go to the Port of Rawson, where we will have time to walk around the place, and optionally we will be able to go on a dolphin watching tour (not included). We will continue our visit to Trelew, where we can visit the Palaeontological Museum (optional, entrance not included), considered the most important in Latin America.

We will then make a historical-cultural circuit through the lower valley of the Chubut River, experiencing the Welsh culture in person in Gaiman. Here we will be able to meet the inhabitants of this particular town where Welsh customs are kept alive, such as the chapels and their language. We will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious Welsh tea (not included) and there will be time to visit the local Welsh Museum (optional, entrance not included).

After this beautiful day, we will be returning to our selected hotels at approximately 19:00 hs.
