It is the most distinguished and well-known monument in the entire province, and today houses the Provincial Art Museum,
a tangible sign of seven hundred years of Trentino history from the time of Frederick II of Swabia to the rule
Austrian rule and the First World War. In its current appearance it is a complex of buildings, the result of
modifications and additions over the centuries, starting from the 13th century. You visit the medieval part
with the patrol walkway; the Eagle Tower with its precious cycle of frescoes from the 1400s dedicated to the
months; the Gothic part with the graceful Venetian loggia; the Renaissance building with the beautiful frescoes,
the state rooms and the 16th-century flat of Prince-Bishop Bernardo Clesio
