During this tour, your guide will show you the must-see attractions of Trondheim. You will learn more about the history of the city as well as its legends.
Your guide will take you past the majestic Nidaros Cathedral, the birthplace of Christianity in Norway. You will cross the old bridge also called “gate of happiness” to access the charming old quarter of Trondheim and its colourful houses. In this area your guide will introduce you to the only bicycle lift in the world. The visit continues to Solsiden, a former shipyard which is today a very dynamic district and which has retained its industrial appearance. On the way back we will stop at Stiftsgården, summer residence of the Norwegian royal family and then we will end in the central square of Trondheim with the large statue of the city's founder, Olav Trygvasson.
