Cenote swim was fantastic, private cenote so only those on the trip could swim and be there. The ruin tour was ok, extremely hot, and guide wanted to just stand and talk instead of allowing us to walk around ourselves. We did ditch the group and explore on our own but when we went to the meeting place at the time the guide told us, they had already left. Thankfully she called me and came back for us. Also make sure you bring cash! The extra fees they charge per person is cash only and the email doesn’t say that. Also the taco place at the cenote will charge you $20usd for using credit card so bring cash for that. And prepare to spend more time on the bus than you do at each place. We spent about an hour at the ruins and 90mins at the cenote, and about 6 hours on the bus. And bring a reusable water bottle, again in the email it does not tell you this but you cannot bring in plastic to the ruins and with the heat you will need water, we were very thirsty afterwards since we did not know.

It was a bit of a trip from Cancun, but we knew this. The trip getting there and back was a bit interesting, having never done this sort of trip before. There were a couple of transportation transfers van to bus, bus to van, but it kind of makes sense that there are people from many different resorts, etc. also joining in on the trip. Our tour guide did a phenomenal job at keeping track of the 30 or so people in our group. The grounds and facilities were beautiful and the guide was full of information around the Mayan culture. I would highly recommend this tour to others.
