What you can expect

Ride through central London aboard a classic red double-decker bus to see some of the city's most renowned landmarks and attractions. Then, sail down the River Thames on a relaxing cruise. After taking in the sights from the water, head over to Buckingham Palace to catch all the pomp and pageantry of the Changing of the Guard ceremony.

Jump aboard a splendidly restored double-decker Routemaster bus, an English icon from the 1950s, and set off through the city streets. Gaze out at views of Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and the London Eye as you ride along, and then by the bustle of Trafalgar Square, the modern architecture of The Shard, and the instantly recognisable span of Tower Bridge. Stop to snap photos of Westminster Abbey, where royal coronations have been held since the 11th century. If you have opted for the afternoon tour, you also have a photo stop at the Tower of London.

Next, swap the bus for a boat as you set off on a cruise down the Thames. The boat is on private hire for exclusive use by Premium Tours.Enjoy a guided commentary whilst sailing up river. Pass beneath Tower Bridge and London Bridge, and the Tower of London. Spot historical landmarks like Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, and see the obelisk known as Cleopatra's Needle rising from the urban landscape. Step back onto shore and make your way to Buckingham Palace, where your tour concludes at the perfect location for watching the famous Changing of the Guard outside the Buckingham Palace which was the official residence of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

If you want to see even more, upgrade to one of three activities: a London Eye ride, a traditional pub lunch or a cream tea at Harrods restaurant.

The tour was excellent except for the fact that after the cruise they left without my wife and me My wife had to take the stair up from the river a little slower than the others but we could not have been more than 2 minutes behind the others. As a result we were left to walk the length of St James park from the Thames to Buckingham Palace. Unfortunately we never found our tour and had to take a cab back. This is the first time we have ever experienced anything like this before. We do not recommend this tour. Glenn C

Our tour guide, John was awesome! Personable and a lot of great facts about London. Riding in the vintage 1950’s era double decker bus was fun! The boat ride on the Thames was a great way to see the city- wonderful opportunity to get great pictures of some of the major attractions!

Only 5 passengers total on our tour due to the rain. Our guide made the best of it. Nice to have the whole top of the bus to just a few passengers. Saw all the major sites of London in the rain, certainly another perspective of London. The river tour was only on way, it use to make a round trip.

Our guide pointed out many buildings AFTER we had passed them…..which was very confusing. He talked so much of the history that obviously no one was interested in that we missed a lot of buildings of interest. Also it was very apparent we were just killing time waiting for the bus. I booked this because of the reviews were good and we were very dissatisfied.
