Come and join us on our High Atlas Discovery Day to learn more about the Amazigh (Berber) way of life in the remote villages surrounding Marrakech ️ 9.00 : you will be picked up in a 4x4 by your private driver and local guide, leaving Marrakech and driving through the stunning Atlas Mointains 10.30: arrive to you guide’s village and drink tea with her family at her home ☕️ 12:00: after tea, head further up the mountains and arrive to the spectacular Azzaden Valley, close to Mount Toubkal, and the mountain lodge that will be your home base for the day ⛰️ 12.30: cooking class with a local village women - learn how to make a traditional Moroccan tagine and salad - enjoy your hard work for lunch! 14:30 : take a walk around village with your guide, visiting the fields and river 15:30 : visit a local woman’s house who will teach you to make tannourt, traditional Amazigh bread 16:30: relax on the lodge’s panoramic terrace with a tea or coffee before heading back to the city You will be accompanied the entire day by a local guide who grew up in the village ‍
