The White Stork Synagogue is closed on Saturdays, Jewish holidays, during the performances and prayer time. Admission is for the synagogue only, without temporary exhibitions.

Prior to 1933, the Jewish community in former Breslau, which was a leading city in East Germany, played a prominent part in the economic, social, and cultural life of the city.
