Good location near to the city bars, restaurants and clubs, 10 min walk from the train station and very close to s tram stop. The room was fine, warn etc. Only two individual bathrooms (for one person each) on my floor, which could have been a bit cleaner and hot water took ages to come through. The main issue, not the hostel's fault directly, was person in adjoining room playing loud TV/radio all night non stop, still going in the morning...

Very nice and cozy hostel, friendly staff and good location! Several bars very close by. Quick note, there is a bar right behind the hostel, so you get some noise from that.

Good hostel close, great position
The staff is really kind and the position of the hostel is great. It is located at 2 minutes walking from the street with all the bars, so great for a night out. The services are essential but good, which guarantee a comfortable stay. The only issue of this hostel is the condition of the showers. Barely enough water to take a shower and quite dirty.

Decent stay - Martin the legend
Want to give a specific shoutout to employee Martin who went out of his way more than once to help me. The first by allowing me to keep my luggage behind the desk as all the lockers were taken. He let me do this for free as well, which is amazing considering how expensive the lockers are. Then he also gave me his personal number so I was able to contact him to collect the luggage as the reception would be closed at that time. Finally he helped me by allowing me to use the reception pc to print my train ticket off, ensuring I didn’t miss my train and I had a valid ticket. Thanks so much, you made the stay 5*, despite the fact you have to pay for your linen, wifi didn’t reach my room and I saw a huge rat run across the kitchen floor!

Perfect location, friendly staff, great price.
I ended up staying here as all the full-service hotels were sold out. The manager Matthias is super friendly, and even sent me email that if I was checking in late, the door would be locked, and how I should get the keys. Organic b'fast could be pre-purchased the previous night. Either get your own linen/towels, or rent from front desk (which I did ... it was very clean, no worries there). I had room with a private bath. Lots of hot water, no worries. Room had plenty of light and windows. A bit cramped with no place to keep my luggage, but it was one night only. Plenty of racks to hang clothes, towels. The location is absolutely fantastic: in the heart of Aarhus Central, a short walk from the train station, bus terminus, and the docks. Great dining and shopping almost as soon as you step out. And the manager Matthias is great. This is the place to get when in a bind or don't want to spend too much.

Convenient location to the Latin Quarter
Although the hostel, itself does not have free parking, they were great in marking a map of areas where there was free parking about 15-20 minutes walk away which helped us out a lot. The location was right where we wanted to be, near the Latin Quarter or pedestrian walkway near the canal. For the price, it could not be beat especially as we are tourists who just wanted a clean place to sleep and shower. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed Aarhus very much.

We got a free party at the hostel
There were free wine, beer, soft drinks, beef burger and a full lamp! Also music and dancing. Very nice experience. Room is basic and the kitchen is not very clean, but we didn't use them much.
